How it went
The owners of a semi-detached house in Beveren-Leie wanted off oil. After a heat-loss calculation we chose a 9 kW air/water heat pump with integrated 200 L domestic-hot-water tank.
Every existing radiator was recalculated — four were undersized for low-temperature operation and were swapped for larger panel radiators. The rest stay.
The old oil tank was neutralised and removed through the garage; the freed space now serves as storage. The outdoor unit sits on an anti-vibration plinth at the rear, more than 4 m from the neighbours’ bedroom wing.
Subsidies: the client received the regional heat-pump grant and the oil-removal grant. We delivered every certificate ready for the dossier.
