Condensing boiler + sanitary upgrade — Sint-Amandsberg

A family home in Sint-Amandsberg with an atmospheric boiler from 1998 on its last legs. We installed a 25 kW Vaillant condensing boiler with a 150 L external stainless cylinder.

The flue was rebuilt in twin-wall through the existing chimney — concentric Ø 80/125. Heating water was fully drained, flushed and treated with inhibitor; a magnetic filter was added on the return.

Sanitary: old copper lines on the bathroom floor were leaking. Swapped for PER with a fresh manifold on the landing. Hot-water runs were insulated to cut losses.

One working week from teardown to commissioning, including gas-tightness test and certificate for the inspection.
